ABOUT US

Armida Baylon, ASID Interior Designer, has been designing interiors for the past 25 years.   She attended Cal State Los Angeles and the UCLA Extension Design Program.   She continues taking ASID Continuing Education classes regularly.    She is a Certified Kitchen Designer.    Ms. Baylon is also fluent in Spanish.

The most important philosophical comment she makes to her prospective clients is to let them know that she will guide and assist them in bringing their environment to have their personal, individual look and style.

What patterns, fabrics, colors, and furniture styles will work with a given room?   Designing a room or an entire house involves balancing lifestyle with practicality. From evaluating the structure or shell of a room to selection of colors, the project begins.   Which pieces would the clients like to bring into their new space?   What about proportion?

Ms. Baylon works with teams of tradespeople from an architect to a contractor; the cabinetmaker, the flooring installer, tile setter, electrician, wood finisher, and so on.   Together they coordinate and schedule the details of a project in order to bring the envisioned new look to the client’s space.   Ms. Baylon’s role is that of project manager in overseeing all aspects of the new endeavor.
